Headstart Garlic Summer Lick is a complementary mineral feedstuff for cattle, sheep and horses to be fed during summer grazing to reduce nuisance from flies and supply essential vitamins, minerals and trace elements.

This product contains a high concentration of garlic (33% more garlic than competitor products). When garlic is fed it is absorbed by the animal and over the following days the active components of garlic are secreted through pores in the skin. Many insects are averse to these chemicals and therefore will no longer cause a nuisance to the livestock.
